The Cut & Craft is an independent restaurant and cocktail bar group, founded in Yorkshire and built around a simple idea: affordable luxury.
From our first restaurant in York to our venues in Leeds and Manchester, we create elegant, welcoming spaces for premium steaks, fresh seafood, crafted cocktails, Champagne and memorable occasions. Our restaurants are designed to feel special without feeling out of reach — combining beautiful interiors, warm service and quality produce with an accessible sense of hospitality.
We are proud to be independent, local and people-led. Each Cut & Craft restaurant is shaped by its city, its guests and the producers, brewers, spirit makers and suppliers who help bring our menus to life.

2018
The Cut & Craft begins in York city centre, bringing independent premium dining to St. Sampson's Square.
2022
The Cut & Craft Leeds opens in Victoria Quarter, bringing our affordable luxury dining experience to one of the cities most iconic locations
2025
The Cut & Craft Manchester opens on Mosley Street, inside the Grade II*-listed former Manchester and Salford Bank.
2026
The Cut & Craft Leeds prepares to expand with new spaces for cocktails, private dining and special occasions.
2027
The Cut & Craft continues its journey with plans to open in Liverpool.
