Find everything you need to know before your visit to The Cut & Craft. From bookings and dress code to dietary requirements, accessibility and celebrations, we’ve answered our most commonly asked questions below. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, our Guest Experience Team will be happy to help.

Before you visit

Can I book a table?

Tables for up to eight guests can be booked online 24 hours a day. For larger groups, private dining or exclusive hire, please contact our team directly. To protect bookings, all reservations require card authorisation. 

Can I change my booking?

Yes, you can alter your booking. If you need to change the date, time, or number of guests, please refer to your booking confirmation email. We will do our best to accommodate your requests. If you have any questions about your reservation or menu options, please contact our Guest Experience Team.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel a booking. We understand that plans can change, so we ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel your reservation. If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking, a cancellation fee will be applied to the card on file. Please note, if you are refused entry on the day for any reason, this will also be treated as a late cancellation and will incur the same fee.

What is the dress code?

We operate a smart casual dress code. Our aim is to create a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Fashion trainers are welcome, however we kindly ask guests not to wear sportswear, tracksuits, football shirts, gym wear, flip flops, sliders, crocs or hats.

Do you have car parking?

We don't have on-site parking, however there is public parking nearby. 

What are your opening times?

We are open for lunch, dinner and drinks seven days a week. Our York restaurants open Monday to Friday from 11am until late, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until late. Our Leeds and Manchester restaurants open Monday to Friday from 11am until late, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until late. 

Dining with us

Are children allowed?

Children are welcome to join us for lunch, our last family seating with minors under 10 is at 4:45pm. 

Are dogs allowed?

With the exception of registered assistance dogs, dogs are not permitted inside our restaurants. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome on our outdoor drinking terrace in Leeds, although dining is not available in this area. 

Do you serve cocktails? 

Yes! We serve a selection of house crafted cocktails alongside an extensive list of fine wines, beers and spirits. Please note that all our spirit measures are served as 50ml as standard unless requested otherwise. 

Can I celebrate with you?

Celebrating something special? Let us know when you book and we’ll help make the occasion memorable. Every Birthday receives a complimentary celebration card from our team, while our concierge service  offers optional upgrades including Champagne on arrival, handcrafted cocktails, personalised gifts and luxury table touches. For private dining celebrations, your Guest Experience Manager can help create a bespoke experience.

Do you offer private dining?

Yes. Our private dining spaces are available for celebrations, business dining and exclusive events. We offer bespoke menus, drinks packages and dedicated Guest Experience support. Find out more on our Private Dining pages.

Do you require a deposit for drinks tables?

Please note in Manchester and Leeds we require a £20 non-refundable deposit to secure your drinks table in the evenings between 6-11pm. This is fully redeemable and will be removed from your bill on the night.

Menu & Dietary

Do you cater for allergies? 

Absolutely. Please let us know of any allergies when booking and notify your server on arrival. Our team will be happy to guide you through suitable menu options.

Do you offer gluten-free options?

We offer a dedicated gluten-free menu across all restaurants. Please make a note of any dietary requirements when booking and speak with your server on arrival. While every care is taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment due to the nature of our kitchens.

Do you offer nut-free options?

Yes, we have nut-free options available on our menu. Our dishes may contain nuts or nut traces. Whilst we do our best to reduce the risk of cross-contamination in our restaurants, we cannot guarantee that any of our dishes are free from allergens. Please let us know about any dietary requirements or allergies when making your reservation and inform your server when you arrive.

Is your meat halal? 

Our kitchens are not halal, however we do have a large variety of fish, vegetarian and vegan options available on our menu. 

Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?

Yes. Our menus include a carefully selected range of vegetarian and vegan dishes, created with the same focus on quality ingredients and flavour as the rest of our menus.

Do you use non-dairy milk?

Yes, we offer non-dairy milk options for our coffee and tea beverages. Our non-dairy milk options include soy, almond, and oat milk.

Do you offer afternoon tea?

Afternoon Tea is available at our Leeds restaurant everyday from 11am - 5pm. Advance booking is recommended. Afternoon Tea reservations can be made here

Additional Information

Do you have live music?

Yes. Selected restaurants host regular live music throughout the week. Visit our What's On page to see upcoming performances and events. 

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Gift unforgettable dining experiences with The Cut & Craft Gift Vouchers. Available from £25 and delivered instantly by email or beautifully presented by post, they’re the perfect gift for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations or simply because.

Do you allow flash photography in the restaurants?

We want you to enjoy a memorable visit at The Cut & Craft, and appreciate snapping the perfect picture is part of that! We encourage you to capture the beauty of your meal, but kindly ask you are mindful of other guests. Please keep the flash off, refrain from using extra lights, and take your photos while seated, so everyone can fully enjoy The Cut & Craft experience.
